Monorail

Proposal for Monorail in school:

Purpose
This proposal aims to clearly explain the basis and feasibility for a monorail within the school, and propose the system for which the monorail be set up in school.

Basis:
1) The monorail will provide a means of transport for students in the school.
2) The monorail will shorten time taken to move about in between classes.
3) The monorail will be cost effective and ease the burdens of student movement around school.

Feasibility
1) The monorail will adhere to all EFG (Environmental Focus Group)'s campaigns and aims.
2) The monorail will be eco-friendly and travel only on Ghee provided by the Prata stall uncle.
3) The monorail will be painted green in support of the Gardening Club and EFG.
4) The monorail shall only operate from 5a.m. in the morning until 1a.m. at night during school days and 24 hours only during school holidays.
5) The monorail shall not be made of CFCs.
6) The monorail shall not emit greenhouse gases or contribute to global warming in any way.
7) The monorail should last as long minimally as the old block has.
8) The monorail should not make excessive noise to disrupt studying.
9) The monorail shall not pass through any male or female toilets. Staff toilets will be taken into consideration shortly.

System and Implementation
The monorail system shall be run by the Estate Office, specifically a select group of people known as the Monorail Operations Overseers (MOO).
There shall be a club formed and automatically approved by the Senior Admin called the "Monorail Operations, System and Engineering Specialists (MOSES)"
MOSES shall be excused from 2 hours of class from any lesson of his choice to operate the monorail.

No charge will be made to ride on the monorail.
Teachers must scan their thumbs and students must scan their school cards to prove their identity to MOSES/MOO.

The monorail shall consist of 4 different lines similar to the Tomy trains that run in Isetan Shaw House. The four lanes are to be named after the four main blocks existing within the school, namely New Block, Old Block, Boarding School and Recreation Centre.

The monorails shall be constructed by the laws of kinematics by the Science Research Challenge Group and their mentor for this 13 year long project will be a member of the Physics department who is willing to undertake a heavy responsibility which will stand him in good stead for promotion to Monorail Affairs Teacher (MAT). Also, a suffix 'Sales, Administration, Logistics, Location, Environment, Holistic-ness' can be added, making his title "MAT-SALLEH".

The monorail shall span 16.2km across 88 stations round school in no particular order:

The monorail shall be built using all labour available and everyone will break from school for 1 week to help out with the construction of this project.
The monorail shall aim to serve the new 14 storey Boarding Hall replacing the basketball courts. The station will be named aptly as such.

The porta-cabins will be replaced by a permanent building and the station currently attached to the porta-cabin will be named aptly as such.

Everyone must raise $100 000 or else...
